Érik Le Beau was born in Montreal in 1967. In 1988, he obtained a diploma in the visual arts at the collegiate level and in 1992, he graduated from Concordia University with a Bacherlors of Fine Arts.

He is guided by his sense of adventure and his urge to explore. As a great traveller whose inspiration is nourished by the cultures of the world and traditional spiritual teachings, he visited Asian and European countries, capturing their respective poetry in his sensitive drawings and magnificent photographs as seen on this website.

Linking the Sacred to Knowledge, his research continues to this day with a multidisciplinary project, passionately creating his own "theatre of the worlds of Knowledge and the Sacred". His installations are contemporary devices reminding one of the natural sciences cabinets of the Victorian era. This fascinating approach reveals an artist whose vision of the world opens onto an aspect of art rarely developed in the Fine Arts.

Two thumbs up !

The journal page is powered by «Wordpress». I originally used the «Neptune» skin created by Ben the Groot that I almost totally modified.

The Flash image galleries were made using the open source software «JAlbum» with a licensed copy of the «BananAlbum» skin by Rudin Swagerman. I'm also using «Simpleviewer» created by Felix Turner. Go and check these out.
